Welcome to Northaxis Freight LLC (“Northaxis Freight,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing our website or using our auto transport services, you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Nature of Our Services

Northaxis Freight is a licensed auto transport broker, not a motor carrier. We arrange transportation with vetted, insured carriers on your behalf. We do not own or operate the trucks used for transport.

2. Quotes and Pricing

  • All quotes are estimates based on current market rates, route, vehicle details, and timing.
  • Final pricing may vary if information provided is inaccurate (e.g., wrong vehicle size or condition).
  • Quotes are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated.

3. Booking and Payments

  • A deposit or service fee may be required to confirm booking.
  • Remaining balance is paid directly to the carrier at delivery (cash, certified funds, or as otherwise agreed).
  • Failure to pay the carrier may result in legal action and additional fees.

4. Vehicle Preparation

  • Vehicles must be operable unless noted; non-running vehicles require additional equipment and fees.
  • Remove personal belongings; carriers are not liable for personal items left in the vehicle.
  • Maintain at least ¼ tank of fuel for loading/unloading.

5. Pickup and Delivery

  • Dates are estimates; delays may occur due to weather, traffic, or mechanical issues.
  • Door-to-door service is provided when legally and safely accessible; otherwise, pickup/delivery occurs at the nearest safe location.

6. Insurance and Liability

  • Carriers contracted by Northaxis Freight are fully insured per federal regulations.
  • Any damage claims must be noted on the Bill of Lading at delivery and submitted directly to the carrier.
  • Northaxis Freight is not liable for carrier delays, damage caused by weather, acts of God, or items inside the vehicle.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations before carrier assignment may be refunded (minus any processing fees).
  • Cancellations after carrier assignment may incur a non-refundable dispatch fee.

8. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate pickup, delivery, and vehicle information.
  • Be available or designate an agent for pickup/delivery.
  • Review and sign inspection reports (Bill of Lading) at both ends of the transport.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will first be addressed directly with Northaxis Freight’s customer service. If unresolved, disputes are subject to the laws and courts of [Your State], without regard to conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to Terms

Northaxis Freight may update these Terms at any time. The latest version will be posted on our website with the effective date.
